Using the victims of real life rapes and their accounts, Leicestershire Police have produced a hard-hitting short film to encourage people to come forward sooner. The woman in the All is not Lost film faces a choice between reporting the attack or staying silent and highlights the importance of preserving evidence. The video, which was inspired by the murder of Kayleigh Haywood, 15, has been released on social media. It tells a fictional story about a woman who has been attacked by her husband and police say that if it was shown in cinemas it would be given an 18 rating. The second film shows the events leading up to the rape, and will be posted online at a later date. Further films are due to be released featuring interviews with up to six rape victims, as well as a video about the Sexual Assault Referral Centre SARC.
