In-home care is a flexible form of child care which enables families with unusual work, location or care requirements to access approved child care in their own home. Recent Government initiatives have expanded the availability of in-home care and funding has been increased to enable more families to access the service. To see how in-home care varies from the other forms of child care currently available to parents have a look at our child care comparison table.

The objective of IHC is to provide high quality, flexible early childhood education and care options to families for whom other approved childcare options are not available or appropriate due to their unique circumstances. IHC Support Agencies will be the primary conduit between families and services, and will advocate for families. They will monitor care delivery by IHC services to ensure service offerings remain focussed primarily on education and care, and fee charging is appropriate. In Home Care Handbook.

Experts in providing in home childcare for families in NSW, we provide families with security. We know how to learn about what families need, and we recruit the best educators to deliver it. Families are eligible for this program only if they fit into one of the three categories above. We know working solo can be complex. We support our educators. We choose educators who are passionate about children. And passionate about early childhood education! You could say we are the Australian experts at In Home Care provision, this is our 19th year of providing childcare to families in their own homes.
The new In Home Care program launched in July and has proven itself to be a fantastic method of assistance to families who are unable to access other forms of mainstream childcare. The program is designed to help suitable families, who are eligible for the Child Care Subsidy, find flexible child care in their home when no other options are available. Subsidies are paid directly to the Service to pass on as reduced out of pocket expenses for the family. Visit to learn more. Read the overview. In Home Care is flexible, affordable, quality child care where your children are cared for by a qualified educator that takes place in your own home rather than main stream childcare or family day care centres and afterschool care programs. To apply for In Home Care you must submit applications to the In Home Care support Agency and they will assess your eligibility for the program.
